The Bible teaches
that homosexuality, adultery, and premarital sexual relations are
sinful activities, and faithful Christian ministers have taught
this truth for 2,000 years. In Canada though, Bill C-250
was just passed which places "sexual orientation" in a higher status
than speaking the truth for Canadian ministers. The Canadian government
has already stated that portions of the Bible "promote hatred against
homosexuals". The idea behind this law was to provide "protection" for
people with characteristics which can not be altered like your race,
and your gender. Homosexuality is not a characteristic of a person, it
is an activity a person does. Christianity already teaches us to love
the sinner, but to hate the sin. With this in mind, this new bill does
not protect anybody, it simply protects the sin. And why is this a good
idea? How did teaching that homosexuality is a sinful activity become
"hate speech"? This trend isn't only happening in Canada. Ake Green, a
Swedish minister was sentenced to prison for "offending" homosexuals in a
sermon he gave in 2003. Christians are often the brunt of very
offensive jokes and comments by comedians, and homosexual activists. Is
this "hate speech" also? Apparently not. This selective "protection"
provides homosexuals with a special status not available to other
groups. I am a Christian, and I am very offended by the protesters in
this rally, especially by their sexually explicit signage. Do you think there is ANY thought
of putting these offensive people in prison like Ake Green?
Don't hold your breath. Homosexual lobbyists consistently offend many
times over those offended by any minister. These homosexual activists are offending
people in public, homosexuals had to voluntarily attend Ake
Green's private Church sermon to be offended.
If
homosexuality were a genetic trait as many have attempted to claim,
this so-called "trait" would have self ended because homosexuals can
not reproduce within
the sexual parameters of their homosexual
relationships. DNA has nothing to do with the
chosen behavior of
homosexuals. Linking the political activities of homosexual activists
to the
civil rights movement is offensive. DNA is responsible for the
color of a person's skin and this trait is not
condemned in the Bible,
but homosexuality is sinful sexual behavior and is condemned in the
Bible.
What's next? Perhaps we should not condemn other sins either, should we
start letting prostitutes,
practicing drug addicts, and pick pockets
become priests, ministers and bishops? Perhaps their DNA
made them
commit their sins and they should all become ministers also?
What's next,
teaching against adultery is also "hate speech"? Apparently the
Canadian government believes they are a
higher authority in mattes of faith and morality than the Bible. The
content of Canadian minister's sermons, must now fall within the scope
of acceptability to the Canadian government's officials. Is it truly
not remarkable that the government is dictating what morality is to
ministers, rather than the other way around? Is it
just me, or does this sound a lot like Rome just before the empire fell?

What
does this mean for Canadian citizens? It means that if you say
homosexuality is a sinful activity, you are breaking the law. You
are
in fact guilty of a hate crime. There went freedom of speech! Christian
parents teaching their children about sex, are now prohibited from
teaching them that homosexual lifestyles are sinful or conflict with
the
teachings of the Bible. If Christian parents teach their children to
abstain from homosexual relationships, and this is considered hate
speech against homosexuals, why does not also hold true for
heterosexuals?
Is teaching your children to abstain from heterosexual activities
before they are married now to be considered hate speech against
heterosexuals, or are homosexuals a privileged segment of our society?
Can parents still teach their children to abstain from having sex with
animals or is this also a hate crime? How did the teaching of
abstinence become hate speech?
The answer is by the infiltration into
church groups and the government by radical homosexual activists. May I
suggest that every
Sunday we pray for the
Saints, no matter what country they are in, no matter what denomination
they are in. Pray for clarity in the minds of those officers in the
Canadian government that instituted this law, because God will not be
still for long when man contradicts His commands for our lives.
Romans 1:26-32
Because of this, God gave them over to
shameful lusts.
Even their women exchanged natural
relations for unnatural ones.
In the same way the men also abandoned
natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one
another.
Men committed indecent acts with other men,
and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
Furthermore, since they did not think it
worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God,
he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do
what ought not to be done.
They have become filled with every kind of
wickedness, evil, greed and depravity.
They are full of envy, murder, strife,
deceit and malice.
They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters,
insolent, arrogant and boastful;
they invent ways of doing evil; they
disobey their parents;
they are senseless, faithless, heartless,
ruthless.
Although they know God’s righteous decree
that those who do such things deserve death,
they not only continue to do these very
things but also approve of those who practice them.
Many
people today will tell you that the Bible doesn't really teach that
homosexuality is a sin.
You just read the words in the Bible with your own eyes. Was this
message clear enough?
This is not some strange translation, this wasn't a cultural issue of
some two thousand years ago, this applies to all time,
to all people, to all cultures. Regardless of what some wacky church
expert may tell you, homosexuality
is a sin, AND
approving of
homosexuality is also a sin. Does this mean that we should hate
homosexuals? Absolutely not!
Homosexuality seems to have developed into some special kind of sin
that many think deserves
some kind of special hatred. No hatred should exist against
homosexuals, thieves, liars, cheats, murderers, etc.
Sin is sin. We must love the sinner, but hate the sin. Those that
accept, tolerate, or promote homosexuality
may feel that they are loving the sinner, but in reality this results
in the destruction of the person. Those that
condone homosexuality are loving the sin, and hating the sinner.
Misguided acceptance of homosexuality
does not result in a change of direction, it does not result in
repentance. Some will simply say, but I don't believe
the Bible. I've heard this said as if this were a logical statement,
and that this really mattered.
This statement is a lot like saying I don't believe in gravity.
Who cares? When you jump off the building, you're going to go splat
whether you believe in gravity or not.
When you face God and try to explain that He was wrong because you you
disagreed with what He said,
you're also going to go splat! My loving message to you is, believe
that God is serious about what He said.
Believe that I am serious about what I am saying.
I know this may not be popular teaching today but "popular" and "today"
do not really interest me.
I'm here to speak the truth, when so many others simply do what is
easy, popular, or that seems
to be politically polite. Some ministers don't want to offend
anyone. I want to offend anyone,
sinning in any way, so much, that you STOP sinning, and turn to God.
Being offended won't kill you, or destroy you
life.
Sinning against the living God will!

As the election turmoil settles down a
bit, I am trying to figure out another issue. Why DISH Network wanted
me to stop watching Fox News? During the presidential
debates I tried to listen to both candidates to see what they had to
say. They were on every channel, but I tend to like Fox News the best.
Right in the middle of the news, DISH
Network started running porno
ads. Unbelievable! I watched CBS - no porno, ABC - no porno, even CNN -
no porno, but just try and watch Fox News, and splat I had TV
commercials for Blind Date
"Naked Spring Break". I complained but didn't seem to get anywhere. The
next week, again in the middle of Fox News, "The Best of European
Erotica". I called DISH Network and they tried to tell me that it was
not them running the pay-per-view ads for DISH Network, it was Fox
running the DISH Network ads. Right! This is after canceling HBO for
being too raunchy to watch and switching to STARZ because they told me
it was the "family movie network". While I was watching this "family"
network the so-called comedian Eddie Griffin came on, and he was not on
a movie, he was trying to do some stand up comedy. This one show was
the vilest, raunchiest show that I have ever seen. Eddie Griffin is an
absolute pig! If I had tried to repeat some of the disgusting and
moronic stuff he said on DISH Network to an employee of DISH Network, I
am sure they would have hung up on me! I did call DISH Network about
this issue also, and some idiot on the phone told me "Well, somebody,
somewhere, probably liked it". Wow! So this giant company plans to run
their business at the absolute lowest level of decency, of the absolute
creepiest customer they have, and the rest of us are forced to pay for
this? After watching the programing at DISH Network get worse and
worse, and now running porno ads on my TV when I'm trying to watch the
news, especially when I pay for the service, the TV, the equipment, AND
the home. It's just not going to happen.
Their explanation that they are simply trying to "market their other
products" really offended me, because I was already
a customer. I had already purchased their "product" called Fox News,
and they wanted me to not enjoy the product I had
already decided to watch, because they wanted me to watch one of their
other "products", pornography. In fact they wanted
(my family and) me to watch it so much, that they injected their
product into my living room and violated the choice I had already made
to watch the news. This may seem like a small issue to some, but this
is an example of how a large company thinks
that they have the right to dictate to me, what my family will be
seeing, regardless of what we have decided for ourselves!
There seems to be a
lot of false tolerance being taught today.
People keep telling me that people that like pornography should be
allowed to watch it. Homosexuals should be allowed to do anything they
want to. People should be allowed to do drugs. People say that
prostitution is a victimless crime.
What about tolerance for those that do not want
pornography,
on their own television set,
in their own living room?
YOU have decided to look at this web page. I did not send it to you, it
did not magically show up in a pop-up ad.
You had to decide to come here and read these words for yourself. If
you do not like them, go away.
I did not have
this choice.
I made a conscious decision and it was violated by DISH Network!
Needless to say, DISH Network is no longer connected to my
TV. I am fed up with the absolute toilet morality evident with so
many of these big companies that feel they are untouchable. They really
didn't get it either. I was disgusted with their horrible programing
and their inability to make a single moral decision. They offered me a
free month of "service", but were planning to pump the same filth into
my living room. I contacted them five times trying to find out what was
going on, but all I got was a run-a-round.

This moment will be presented to you when you claim that you didn't
know, or understand, or mean it.
Don't believe in God? Don't believe in hell?
Are you willing to risk your eternal future on your
false hope that God and hell do not exist?
Collossians 3:5-6
Therefore, put to death whatever is worldly in you: your sexual sin,
perversion, passion, lust, and greed (which is the same thing as
worshiping wealth). It is because of these sins that God’s anger comes on those who
refuse to obey him.
